Steve Curl - Non-Executive Chairman
Steve Curl is an experienced non-executive director and chairman with private equity companies in the oil & gas sector.
Currently he is serving as Chairman of VSI, a software developer, and as Chairman
of SMD, a company that manufactures remote subsea vehicles for the oil & gas industry. Steve was also Chairman of Viking Moorings who provide mooring systems to the oil & gas industry,
until its recent very successful sale.
Kitty Hall - Chief Executive
Kitty Hall, Chief Executive and co-founder of ARKeX, has a background in gravity geophysics. She led the spin-out of ARKeX from its founding companies ARK Geophysics (where she was MD) and Oxford Instruments. She has more than 25 years experience in management, sales and business development in airborne and marine geophysics. She is a geologist by training and holds an MSc in Stratigraphy.
Jim Sledzik - Non-Executive Director
Jim is a partner at Energy Ventures. He was formerly the Global Marketing & New Technology Director and also Vice President of Multi-client Services at WesternGeco. He brings 18 years of worldwide oil & gas industry experience with Schlumberger/WesternGeco. Jim has an MBA in International Business and a BSc in Geosciences.
David Sneddon - Non-Executive Director
David is a partner at SEP and has been involved in the energy industry since 1988 and investing in the sector since 1991. He has led investments in companies involved in all aspects of the industry, including downhole products, geophysical services and completion systems.
Dr. Nick Wood - Non-Executive Director
Nick is an engineer who has 20 years in technology management and business development with companies like Scientific Generics. He brings to ARKeX extensive experience of managing risk in complex technology programmes.
Helge Hellebust - Non-Executive Director
Helge Hellebust is a Partner at Ferd Venture. Before joining Ferd in 2001, he worked for Norsk Hydro ASA as a project analyst, license co-ordinator and negotiator. Helge holds an MSc degree in engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (1989), and has additional qualifications in accounting and finance from the Norwegian School of Management and the Norwegian School of Economics and Administration.
