Dr Jeremy White - VP Engineering
Jeremy is a co-founder of ARKeX. Leader of the instrument team at OI prior to the spin-out and subsequently at ARKeX, Jeremy is a highly experienced instrument engineer and project manager in low temperature instrumentation gained during 15 years with Oxford Instruments. He holds a PhD in low temperature physics (Oxford) and an MBA.
Paul Versnel - VP Eastern Hemisphere
Paul joined ARK Geophysics ten years ago as interpretation geophysicist and held the position of MD for the past four years. Before joining the oil industry, he worked in the mineral exploration industry as Senior Geophysicist with Gold Fields of South Africa. He holds a joint degree in geology and geophysics with post grad in geophysics (University of Witwatersrand, South Africa). He also holds an MBA.
Phill Houghton - VP Business Development
Phill is a co-founder of ARKeX. He has worldwide oil industry experience with more than 25 years in sales, technical development and gravity surveying gained with ARK Geophysics, MGAL, Oceonics, and the Royal Navy Hydrographic Office. He is an electrical engineer by training.
Dr Neil Dyer - VP Geophysics
Neil is a geophysicist with over ten years experience of acquiring, processing and interpreting geophysical data for the oil and gas industry. Neil has previously worked for GSI, HGS, BiPS and TGS Nopec. He also holds a PhD in geophysics.
Dr David Jackson - VP Geological Services
David has over 26 years experience in oil and gas exploration and production, and is a specialist in the integration of geology, geophysics and reservoir engineering. He has previously held roles at BP and Chevron. At Chevron, he worked on one of the world's supergiant oilfields, Greater Burgan-Kuwait, where he was part of Chevron's efforts to help the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) increase production following the Iraq War of the early 1990's.
Chris Payne - VP Operations
Chris brings many years of international operations experience to ARKeX with a focus on survey flight operations.
His operational experience includes airborne geophysics, photogrammetry and
LiDAR flight operations conducted around the world. Chris has previously held management positions in High-Sense Geophysics and
Fugro Airborne Surveys, and director level positions in Atlantic Technologies, AAG, Geotech and Intermap Technologies.
Chris is a licensed Commercial Pilot.
Dr Phil Jones - Operations Manager
Phil joined ARKeX from nearby British Antarctic Survey. Phil brings a wealth of experience in airborne gravity operations having led nine consecutive field seasons in Antarctica, acquiring a variety of geophysical datasets including magnetics and radio echo sounding data as well as gravity as part of BAS's programme of exploration on the Antarctic Peninsula and Ronne Ice Shelf.
