John Siegfried

John Siegfried - Chief Executive

John Siegfried has over 30 years of exploration industry experience. He was formerly ARKeX's COO where he managed the delivery of the company's service across the globe. He has worked in all aspects of exploration from Party Chief on field crews for Western Geophysical, to Global Operations Manager for Western/Baker Hughes and Global Operations Support Manager for WesternGeco/Schlumberger.

Stuart Gibson

Stuart Gibson - Chief Financial Officer

Stuart is a highly knowledgeable CFO with experience of several early stage, VC backed technology companies and was directly involved in a high value trade sale of his previous company to a large Japanese biopharmaceutical company. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Paul Versnel

Paul Versnel - VP Sales

Paul joined ARK Geophysics, ARKeX's parent company, in the late 90's as interpretation geophysicist and ending with the position of Managing Director for four years prior to transferring to ARKeX as VP Global Sales. Before joining the oil industry, he worked in the mineral exploration industry as Senior Geophysicist with Gold Fields of South Africa. He holds a joint degree in geology and geophysics with post grad in geophysics (University of Witwatersrand, South Africa). He also holds an MBA.

Phill Houghton

Phill Houghton - VP New Ventures

Phill is a co-founder of ARKeX. He has worldwide oil industry experience with more than 25 years in sales, technical development and gravity surveying gained with ARK Geophysics, MGAL, Oceonics, and the Royal Navy Hydrographic Office. He is an electrical engineer by training.

Neil Dyer

Dr Neil Dyer - VP Geophysical Services

Neil joined ARKeX in 2006 and has over 15 years direct experience in the oil and gas sector in Interpretation, QA, data processing and Integrated 'Multi Physics' Earth Modelling. Previous commercial experience acquired at GSI, HGS, BiPS and TGS-Nopec both on and offshore, in exclusive and multi-client business models. PhD research in computational volcanology, specifically in understanding the development of intrusive and effusive basalt structures.

David Jackson

Dr David Jackson - VP Geological Services

David has over 26 years experience in oil and gas exploration and production, and is a specialist in the integration of geology, geophysics and reservoir engineering. He has previously held roles at BP and Chevron. At Chevron, he worked on one of the world's supergiant oilfields, Greater Burgan-Kuwait, where he was part of Chevron's efforts to help the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) increase production following the Iraq War of the early 1990's.

Jeremy White

Dr Jeremy White - VP Engineering

Jeremy is a co-founder of ARKeX. Leader of the instrument team at OI prior to the spin-out and subsequently at ARKeX, Jeremy is a highly experienced instrument engineer and project manager in low temperature instrumentation gained during 15 years with Oxford Instruments. He holds a PhD in low temperature physics (Oxford) and an MBA.

Jim McMahon

Jim McMahon - VP Operations

Jim McMahon has over 31 years of experience in geophysical operations. He began his career with Western Geophysical and went on to gain experience as a Party Manager and Vessel Supervisor at Western Geophysical and Veritas DGC before taking on Operations Manager roles with Veritas/CGGVeritas in their EAME and NASA regions. Most recently he has been VP Marine Operations based in Singapore and VP Shallow Water & OBC Operations in France with CGGVeritas Land Division.

Richard Foster-Turner

Richard Foster-Turner – General Manager, ARKeX Instruments

Richard is an experienced business manager, most recently as Sales Director then President of a scientific instrument company that sold to a major US corporation. Previously he was Commercial Manager at Oxford Instruments developing the precursor to EGG. He initiated the plan to spin off the EGG into a new business, which ultimately became ARKeX.
