Press Release

Expansion to USA and new Operations Director

October 2 2006

ARKeX, developer of world leading airborne gravity gradiometry technology, is expanding its operations with the opening of its first US office and the appointment of an experienced Operations Director. These moves are driven by the rapid growth that ARKeX is experiencing in its global operations.

The office in Houston, Texas, which has just opened for business, will serve the company's expanding North American client base. ARKeX Managing Director Kitty Hall said: "Early success with projects in the US and Canada has driven a huge level of demand for our services. Our presence in Houston will ensure that customers continue to receive the very highest levels of sales and technical support."

ARKeX has also appointed John Siegfried as Operations Director. Previously John was Global Operations Manager at Schlumberger with responsibility for delivering reliable and tested technology to marine field crews. John has also served as Global Marine Manager at Baker Hughes Western Geophysical Segment where he led sales efforts across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. With more than 25 years' industry experience John is a great addition to the ARKeX team and will manage all aspects of Sales and Operations worldwide.

Kitty said: "I am delighted to welcome John to the ARKeX team. He joins us at a particularly exciting time for the company with our expansion into the US and plans for future growth. There is a growing awareness of gravity gradiometry within the oil and gas industry. Our technology is increasingly used by E&P teams in acquiring a clear image of key subsurface features over sizeable or inaccessible areas. This enables our clients to quickly prioritize high grade prospects, reduce time to production and focus valuable seismic budget towards maximum return on assets."
