ARKeX Appoints Carter as North American Sales Manager

HOUSTON (May 21)-ARKeX, a worldwide leader in geophysical imaging, recently appointed Steve Carter as its North American sales manager. With more than 31 years in the geoscience industry, he will be responsible for marketing ARKeX's BlueQubeTM gravity gradiometry surveys in North America.
Carter joins ARKeX from WesternGeco where he was asset development manager for speculative surveys, developing client interest in exploration areas utilizing multidisciplinary techniques. At WesternGeco, he worked in a variety of positions ranging from party manager to operations manager. Also at WesternGeco he served as marine sales manager, sales manager on the Shell account and sales team manager. He was responsible for bringing both conventional and new technologies to clients, such as wide azimuth imaging. He earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Texas.

Carter will be based in the company's Houston office.
