How the Gravity and Magnetic Data Management Service Works

Step 1. Sign up to FieldBank

FieldBank is a subscription service. There is an annual fee and an additional fee when you upload new data. For more information on FieldBank subscriptions, please contact ARKeX.

Step 2. Upload your Data

The loading of the data is handled by ARKeX. There are two levels of data loading that you can choose from:

Level 1

• Footprint of survey (polygon outline on survey page in FieldBank)
• Metadata (on survey page in FieldBank)
• Original data loaded as a tar file (downloadable)

Level 2

ARKeX generated products:

• Footprint of survey (polygon outline on survey page in FieldBank)
• Metadata (on survey page in FieldBank)
• Project information file  in HTML format (Downloadable)
• Navigation image in GIF format (Downloadable)
• Grids in ASCII, ArcASCII, GeoTIFF and GIF format (or other if requested) (Downloadable)

Client supplied:

• Relevant documents supplied by you – e.g. processing reports. (Downloadable)
• Original data supplied by you – e.g.line data, grid data (Downloadable)

Step 3  - Search for Data

Once logged in to your company's account you can search for the uploaded data from your desktop.

Map search

• Use the interactive map to zoom in on your area of interest
• Draw a search box on the map
• Click Search
• Surveys within search area listed

Data Form Search

Search by:

• Data types including – gravity, magnetic, CSEM etc
• Date
• Country
• Latitude and Longitude co-ordinates.

Step 3  - Review Results and Download

There are two types of login with FieldBank. A Standard login lets the user search the database and view results, while the Delivery login allows a user to download documents and data to their desktop.
