Acquisition and Processing

ARKeX can help you obtain the conventional gravity and magnetic data you require and process these to the highest standards. We also also acquire high resolution gravity gradiometry data in both airborne and marine enviroments via BlueQube.

Acquisition

For the acquisition of conventional marine gravity and magnetic data we collaborate with acquisition partners to provide you with a turn-key acquisition and processing service.

Acquisition services include:

• Gravity and Magnetic marine
• Feasibility modelling to verify whether the data will assist with the geological objectives
• Survey planning
• Quality control, most surveys are processed in near real time throughout their acquisition phase so their quality can be verified

Processing

Whether ARKeX has acquired your data or it has been acquired through other means, ARKeX can process or re-process your gravity and magnetic data.

Using our in house processing software and workflows, ARK AP, we have a strong emphasis on detailed, line-by-line and point-by-point analysis of data. This has earned us our reputation for high quality data processing. Extensive use is made of interactive graphical displays of profile data and gridded surfaces.

Each stage is carefully assessed and reviewed by experienced processors in conjunction interpretation geophysicists to ensure that the optimum geological signal is retained.

We have developed a workflow whereby we can process data on raw navigation data, which in many instances, especially with 3D seismic surveys, can greatly enhance the data coverage compared to conventional processing on P1/90 navigation data.
